Bought a new guitar yesterday!
For everyone that plays the guitar, i bought a new electric yesty. Had never ever had a good one so i decided to buy one. The picture below is the best picture i could find on the net to show you it (i didnt take the picture). Its a steve vai signature series JEM7V. It fuckin goes off. And they retail for aus 5000 bucks and i got mine brand new for 2800. What yas reckon?

IMO... They looked cool back in late 80's and early 90's. But I find them cheesy looking now. That doesn't matter though, coz it's the performance that counts.

That's freakin super nice!!! I love the inlay on the fretboard! It would feel nice playing it.. I love the pick cover I think it's called.. Like the shiny peal texture.. very nice! Finally the gold fittings is sweeeet! Even the little gold lock nut things to hold the strings down at the tuning end... Love it!
It's got a nice thin neck too so you can tear it up with solo's and stuff..

these sound great.. friggin 2 humbuckers plus a single pickup, could you have any more versatility? haha..
I posted not that long ago when i purchased a fender tele, but it doesn't compare to this beast.. good luck with it!

That's a nice guitar Snakey. I've never played, let alone owned, a really nice guitar like that. It must be nice. I have a G&L SC-3, which is pretty nice, but it probably doesn't really compare to the sound you'd get out of that bad boy.

Youd think so but not much,its kind of depressing at the moment coz every song i start to play turns out to be a love song of some kind.
