If by strange timing you're thinking what I'm thinking, then you realize what a sucker floyd is. He is looking for any reason to avoid a fight with the best welterweight in the world (Cotto).

Doest sound like he would be awarded much money even if he won, a minimum of 50 thousand. That aint much at all to Floyd, so its probably not about the money.
