Cotto could very easily just sit back on his hefty paycheck from the gomez fight and wait for a mayweather/de la hoya etc to come to him.

The fact he is back and ready to fight within 3 months of his last contest speaks volumes about the man and how ambitious he really is.

Only wish more fighters were willing to adopt the same attitude, ones that dont insist on 6months between fights despite the fact they were probably boxing 6-7 times a year at the start of their careers!!
