Graphics: 9
For a free 2 D ATB game. The graphics are pretty amazing. The towns are very detailed with 2.5D npcs in cute and adorable fashion. The whole image is very fresh, clean and detailed both on the setting or the characters. Character customization is complex and once you begin to obtain items and armor your character really comes into their own. Items really give your character a unique look. The graphics have a kind of nostalgic feel to them. They remind me of some of the older fantasy console graphics. I also really enjoyed the screen shots during loading phases; some of the sketches are truly impressive.
Sound: 10
The sound in Elf Online is great. There are many music tracks specifically for different maps and skills. Very fun to listen too and certainly adds to the feeling within the world. One of my favorite places in the game is the Dungeons and the music you hear as you enter the instance is always great. The game-play (when not hitting lag) always runs smoothly and clearly. The sound simply adds to this effect. While things like quest dialogue have been left out, you still have the funny lines some NPCs say to move you on your next steps.

http://elf.happymmo.com/game/ is great straight forward website. There are no pop up ads and everything can be found on the data base. They really have done a great job there, with outstanding quick start guides, and explanations of skills and abilities and pets, and drops data. The players I’ve come across in Elf Online are surprisingly funny due to the atmosphere of the game, and are very helpful and nice. They would help you do your quest, team up to kill boss or your job change quest.
Role-Playing: 8
Role play? What role play? The game is Elf Online you play either Rover, Scholar, Magician or Soldier, but seriously, this game is about pets mainly. People would consider themselves roleplaying as the protagonist in Pokemon, while raising their favorite pet and start off their journey in training, combating and grinding.
Customer Service: 10
Happymmo’s customer service crew has always seemed very nice and answers my questions quickly. Regular upgrades and expansions are released frequently, and bugs reports will be dealt immediately. I find the customer service in Elf Online Outstanding.
Performance/Lag: 8
I have a crappy Intel intergrated graphics card with Windows XP Pentium 4 cpu 2.66, with dial up connection. There is no real lag or performance problem. However, the graphics and music are sometimes up to a level where you should have lag. With regular maintenance patches the lag is minimal.
Value: 9
This game is definitely worth playing and worth spending money; my wallet is not mad at me. There are over 300 types of pets and 9 jobs, 6 crafts. With numerous combinations and tactics can be used in combats whether in 1on1 or 5on5 or in guild war. The various combos just made this game ultra fun. Also different equipment have special effects enhancing the characters and that the stats are added by your own, which means everyone’s chars build are unique. Lvling outside normally and alternate paths can be taken to reach leveling goals. It is nice that you can level 5 characters at once from1-70 and actually not do the same quest.
Fun: 9
Adventure? Crafting? Killing? Gathering? Guild war? Team work? Well anything you want to do short of ascending to become a major deity is attainable and made into a cute fun filled package now just in open beta. They have added new pets, new jobs, funny quests with high adventure, and lots of rewarding items and abilities along your trip to level 70 and high training points for pets. Don't get me wrong, grinding still exists, but the fun factor and entertainment of the game is elevated by pet. Pets are with different attributes and skills, and training points are added differently. With 5 different types of pet+9 different types of jobs, numerous different items and stats build, one can make very unique combo.
