IBF minimumweight champion Florante Condes of the Philippines and his local challenger Raul Garcia Hirales both came in at 104 lbs, 1 lb below the minimumweight limit of 105 lbs, at the weigh-in held moments ago at the Araiza Palmira Hotel in Las Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
The weigh-in was supervised by IBF championship committee chairman Lindsay Tucker.
Condes will defend his title against Garcia tomorrow night (Sunday morning in Manila) at the Estadio Arturo in La Paz where a full house has been expected because of the high level of interest this fight has been getting locally as shown during today's weighin where more than a dozen media outfit came in to cover the event.
Condes will be wearing a red trunk in tomorrow's fight while Garcia will don the Mexican colors of red, white and green.
Tomorrow's fight will be televised live thru Televisa all over Mexico except at Baja California Sur where the TV broadcast will be blocked to allow local residents to see the fight live in the arena.
