Default Arthur v Cook - 6/9/08 MEN Arena

Cook coming off the back of a 2nd round stoppage and Arthur newly installed as World Champ so this one is a pretty intruiging matchup for me (and a hard one to call)
Add to this event a certain Amir Khan and it looks a good nights boxing.
    Arthur and Cook have points to prove U K f i g h t n e w s . c o . u k

Nicky was a hyge prospect a few years ago.

I remeber on the undercard of Audley vs. the black Dutch slob fighter, for the WBF "world title," he was hyped to heaven by the commentators.

Fenster you are being tough on Cook, he put on a brave display and the body punches he took in his only defeat were sickening. Hopefully Arthur wins.

You're right Cook probably showed bottle rather than bottling it. I think he underperformed though (there was the excuses.. but there always is).. although I also think Luevano simply had too much for him (think i should just give up )

Ive got nothing against Arthur but I hope Cook wins. I think he can and i'll be supporting him 100%.

I predicted this match (sorry couldn't resist the boast ).

Cook struggling with the featherweight limit was the excuse given for him being consistently hurt by Luevano (who has proven to be a decent fighter). But Cook looked like he half-bottled it to me.

Arthur looks a big strong superfeather but struggles to make the weight (i know ). Was given a harder fight than expected and floored by Foster jr last time.

Not sure who wins - yet.

On his day Arthur wins as he's a far better boxer while Cook is limited to a half decent jab and throws a pretty good left body shot,Cooks durable too so this should be a good matchup.
Both badly need this win so i predict a decent scrap with Arthur probably taking it on a wide points margin.
