    Default Punch Counting

This may be pretty useless information & I don't know how many of you will put it to practical use in some useful way, but i've found that with those Pedometer things that girls use to measure how many steps they take each day, you can attach them to your gloves and they are pretty much 100% accurate at counting your punches...
Maybe if you wanted to work your right more than your left for a few training sessions you could attach one to each hand and get a ratio of how much you use one hand compared to the other.. Maybe you could measure how many jabs you can do before it feels like u're arm will fall off and then do more next session....

anyway, take of it what you will, just thought i'd share that though.....

Oh one thing to consider is i've only tried it with shadowboxing and it works perfect. Throwing the punch out and brining it back quickly in 2 motions is kind of like taking a step so it counts them the same.
On a heavy bag it may work a little different because it perhaps jerks on the counter a different way your punch connects with the bag and then you bring it back. I'll try tonight though & tell you how it goes...

I'm sure though that the ones especially for attaching gloves use the exact same technology to count puches as the ones to count steps...
But i'll try tonight in different situations & see if it works all the time,,, now that I know someone may be interested in the findings.

over here in Aus they're about $20-$30 for a basic one... So about $12 US. They're actually giving them away in like breakfast cereals at the moment. 1 in 3 boxes has one type of thing.. And they work just as good as the expensive ones you get from sports stores... But yeah you'd be looking at about $10 - $30.... Have a look online and see what you can find.
