I was on my way into town this morning.
It was 6.00am as I was going to do some gym work before work.
The roads were extremely slippy and greasy, as a result of the heavy rainfall the night before and the persistant drizzle all this morning.
I was doing maybe 20 - 25mph going around a roundabout when I heard a sharp thud. Upon hearing the noise the drivers side of the car dropped and the rear of the car swung, causing me to do a complete 180 on the roundabout.
At any other time of day the roundabout would have been extremely busy.
What I can't understand is the tyro blowing out. The tyres were about 2 months old and they were TOYO's. I had done a nice amount of driving in the preceeding number of days, but nothing monumental and I certainly hadn't damaged my tyres in any way.
Any ideas on why my tyre gave out?
or
Am I entitled to a refund on the tyre if I can prove it was a blowout?
