Brutal stuff
They use some real footage of Malicia men chopping people to death on the streets..
Sick.
Heavy movie. There are some heavy duty documentaries on Youtube also.
Interestingly enough only today ( Dec 18 ) they actually convicted a Rwandan army general for masterminding the entire massacre, which was somewhere between 500,000 to 800,000 people killed back in 1994.

The unit I was in while in the British army(9 Para Sqn RE) were out there just before I joined.
The boys out there said it was mad,a few got taken hostage and one of our boys got his foot taken off by a land mine.
Also they had ther hans tied by the government who would not let them intervien in the killings.
France has a lot of blood on its hands after what happened in Rwanda as they were backing the killers.
Balls
The leader of the UN peacekeeping mission in Rwanda during this time was a Canadian. He really suffered terribly from his experience there. He really raised a stink with UN headquarters, he said a massacre was going to happen, but he got precious little support. He said himself "we could have saved hundreds of thousands..." but it just didn't happen. Now he has big psychological problems, nightmares, depression etc.
He wrote a book about his experiences during this time. "Shake Hands With the Devil" by Romeo Dallaire.
Not even close mate in roughly 100 days, at least 500,000 people were killed. Most estimates indicate a death toll between 800,000 and 1,000,000
That's over 200,000 in a month most hacked to death with blunt machetes
and no one did anything, this was in 1994 I remember seeing this film and thinking at least this has been exposed and could never happen again, that's just wishful thinking
Sudan: Started in 2003 the United Nations estimates that the conflict has left as many as 500,000 dead
Congo: Bit more complicated this one but the war in Congo is the world's deadliest conflict since World War II, killing 5.4 million people started in 1998
The whole place is fucked
