Default Breaking News:Team Pacquiao agreeing at 65-35 share!

The doors are not yet closed folks!
I just saw it at our daily local sports show here at the philippines. Arum is planning to talk to the hoya camp for a possible 65-35 split on the fight purse, instead of the 70-30 fight purse as proposed by hoya camp and the 60-40 of team pacquiao. Meanwhile, to prove to the people that he is not interested in money as the reason on pushing this fight, roach said on a radio interview ( as shown also on that same sports show ) that he is willing to give away 10% of his trainer's fee to pac. He said soto is undrawable and if compared to the hoya fight, it will be a megabuck fight for both camps, and a dream fight for fight fans as well.
On the otherhand, wakee salud, a known local promoter and best friend of pac, is willing to talk to pac to agree in the 65-35 share. If both camps agree, since it's only the purse that both camps seems to be arguing about ( there is already a venue: mgm, the date: which is dec., they now agreed on the 8 0z gloves, hoya agreed to make 147) we might get to see that this fight would be made after all.

The magic number is: 65-35. If negotiations still fails, then arum goes back to the back up plan: wbc 135 pnds.title defense against soto.

This is so boring now now

    ODLH fight Margarito

    Pacman fight at 135

    SIMPLE

Why have a fight where DLH wins in 1 round as his last

Well as a pacfan i would rather see pac taking on hoya than soto. Hoya has a bigger name and much riskier.

Plus hoya himself admitted in an interview that he asked schaffer to "give him the biggest fight out there", and schaffer said it's pac.

So if both agreed that pac-hoya is going to be exciting, then why are you saying it's going to be boring? Pac being taken out on rnd.1? Why did'nt hoya did that to forbes? Forbes being a former 126pnder? Do you think forbes is better than pac? Mind you: pac walks around at 148 on fightnight so to say that hoya will take pac out at rnd.1: that's too exagerrated.

What is boring is the negotiations, just get in on or move on.

Pacman is defo one of the top p4p in the world but its a step too far for him. I think he'd do well possibly at 140 but 147 is too far. Even if he is 147 he is a small 147. You do make a good point about Forbes though.

Saying that I think DLH wants to breeze through fights now and could have beaten PBF, Forbes a lot earlier and if he fought Pacman he would drag it out, and claim he's ace o watch, then have another multi million dollar fight

Well as much as i wanted pac to clean up the division first and hoya facing a more "respectful" selection of opponent, there will be a moment in my life that i would ponder: what if those 2 meet then who could have won? Would it be a truly exciting fight like what we have expected?
