What do you guys think of the ab lounge? Has anyone used it? It seems like it would be gentle on my back, I have had back problems in the past and regular situps on the floor seem to give me back pain sometimes.

Is that one of those swiveling chairs you sit on? My dad had one. First time I'd tryed it was when I got back from the gym and me abs were kind of (very...) dead so I could feel all of the muscles it was working.
Second time It took me a long time to get a burn because I was fresh though if you're just starting out you might get the burn I did first time round..., still its got a good range of motions and muscles it can hit but I'm not sure what it'd be like for building up any size/explosive power it felt more like it was just for toning. My dads one had clams to add weights to so you could experiment with that.
It seems likea good peice of kit.
Yeah I bought one because I can't really do situps without hurting my back. I did it for 3 minutes without stopping and got a good burn. If it gets too easy in the future maybe I can get one like your dad's that lets you add weights.
By the way if you wanted to know what it looks like this is it:

They say $164 but I got mine for $75![]()
I also get a very sore back from situps. I have a bad arch that curves inwards a lot. So for ab workouts I just do crunches & then a seperate workout for my back.. But those things can help take some of the work off your back and focus on u're stomach.Originally Posted by Hellbore
