Default Brock Lesnar Looks to be On his way to great things

I think Brock has a real shot of doing great things in the sport of MMA, he is an exceptional athlete with strength, quickness and sheer explosiveness to go with a great wrestling background..

Obviously he has to improve on his submission defense(As Mir Exposed) and see how he would fair if the fight stayed upright.. But he is showing the steady improvement and in impressive fashion... Someone to definetly keep an eye on

brock has looked really great. almost unstoppable. he got careless in his first fight and paid for it. but he was dominating it before that. i think he'll be champion soon

Brock looks more fleshy these days- an indication of roids before?

He's big but been in the fake acting circuit of Wrestling so needs time to see if he's real.

Kimbo vs Lesnar now that is PPV.

I know they are different organisations but that is one helluva match-up both inexperienced in MMA.

    Kimbo by brutal KO.

Lesnar would roll through kimbo like he wasn't even there. I like kimbo, but Brock is far too strong, would take him down in about 8 seconds, and keep him there until kimbo died of old age or brutal tko.

As soon as Brock polishes his bjj, he will dominate like no one we've ever seen, even Fedor.

Hahaha I agree he would destroy Kimbo. Im not sure if that guy is aware Brock Lesnar is no rookie. He is a former national ncaa wrestling champion. He just needs to keep at it and he will be a real force to reckon with.

Talk about the hype train getting off the tracks, Fedor? Brock has a lot of tools to work with, but he isn't ready to be mentioned alongside Tim Sylvia yet much less Fedor.

I think its safe to assume that at the moment Randy, Sylvia, Fedor, Gonzaga and obviously Mir can all beat Lesnar.

But lets give him time to develop. Fighters are too rushed in mma.
For example when the threw Koshchek in with GSP.
I think they'll be different ages.
Lesnar is a new generation and will forge his own legacy against new opposition thet will present itself with time, guys we don't yet know.

I don't know how great he can be...his standup is basic.
But he can be good and I anticipate watching him compete.

Very well said... I am really impressed with his conditioning, he was able to manhandle Herring who is a big boy and hardly break a sweat.. Also if you watch his agility its amazing how he transitions thru positions like a lightweight and he is 265lbs.. The athleticism, potential, work-ethic, and focus are already there now incorporate some submissions and a little advanced standup and he should be upper echelon in a few years

Its always nice to see a big guy that has trained himself for the long haul isn't it?

I remember watching some footage of Brock as a youngster.
He always strived to be the fittest strongest and most aggressive, it meant he lost a few early, but the intent made him bad and as he matured he grew into the style and mastered it.

you just wait and see. he made a rookie mistake against mir, and he will continue to do so, but even after one loss he learned enough to come back and totally dominate and fucking DESTROY a veteran in Herring.

And he would fucking destroy Sylvia. His wrestling (and ground control) is better than anything Tim brings to the table.

    again, just wait and see.

Cant see it aslong as Nogs the champ,Nog is Brocks worst nightmare style wise!

I cant see Brock ever touching Fedor! his carrer wont be long enough to get to Fedors level,Fedor would have him armbared as soon as he took him down, like he has with the other Wrestlers he's fought!

Dont forget the champ Nog,Werdum would have him subbed as soon as they touched the mat too!

I agree Brocks a awsome prospect! It was his 3rd MMA fight and he handled Hearing who's on the fringe of the HW Top.10 pretty easy! He does have a awfull lot to learn though,he's yet to have his chin tested also, which being a HW makes all the diffrence!
