I met Terry in Sheffield and I trained with him in the gym for a bit. I had never seen him box apart from his one punch KO of Gurov. I really liked Terry when I met him. He was a genuinely nice guy, a laugh a minute and this was partially why I became really interested in him. (The other reason was his sheer athleticism and natural boxing skill!) Training with Terry was class, he's really focused and being around him makes you train harder yourself!
So I looked Terry up over the net. I quickly established that in the past Terry has been slated in numerous newspapaers.
Notably this was never in relation to his boxing.
I was actually a little upset by what I read, Terry was not portrayed as the guy I met and it solidified my poor opinion of the modern media.
On a subsequent meeting it was obvious that Terry was aware of the medias perception of him. Suprisingly he didn't seem perturbed, he just wants to box.
I'm definitely looking forward to his comeback, Terry is an excellent fighter and I can't wait to see what this highly motivated regeneration can do.
Trust me guys, he's one to watch
Sorry.. but a 40 year-old coming off a 9 year retirement is one to watch?
Come on now, Dunstan was a good fighter, but it would be a massive surprise for anyone to achieve much after that layoff.
I thought he went to prison for attacking and robbing two women? If that's the case he did a pretty solid job of portraying himself in a bad light - he didn't need the media's help
