so his moving to L.A then?
Khan is going to get KOED by all world class fighters , his chin is made of china.
Rubio's probably glad, too much work to turn that around.
i think this is khans way of trying to say its rubios fault that he got k.od
Khan aint gonna get Roachs undevided attention because he has to train Pacquiao for De La Hoya, a massive fight and then theres all the promotional work that will go with it.
At least he will get good sparring, he could be a usefull sparring partner for Pacquiao.
Maybe Rubio was wrong for Khan, if he couldnt get Khan to fight how he wanted.
Any decent trainer wouldnt stay with Khan if he keeps his attitude of doing as he pleases, they wouldnt want to end up a scape goat for a fighter who wont listen.
I think it's a good move, wether he makes the most of it??
Sparring will definitely help. It's really down to Khan, undevided attention or not he'll have to work tirelessly to iron out the fundamental mistakes which will take tremendous self discpline that no amount of money paid to a trainer will instill.
I think he believed his own hype for so long, believing he has the 'natural' gifts to make it. People often talk about the 'natural gifts' of the likes of jones jr and Mayweather, without mentioning that in their primes they had very few parallels in terms of their meticulous approach to training.
Khan is a turd
Contender gets sparked
Immediatly fires trainer
Hires
A)Freddie Roach
B)Emanuel Stewart
C) Buddy McGirt(ensuring another loss, you see McGirt in a corner, call your bookie now)
D) Floyd Mayweather Sr
Ive heard this somewhere before
What a joke.
Roach is the wrong type of tainer for khan anyhow.
Khan admitted after the fight that he didn't listen to the corner before he went out. He also claimed he'd stand by Rubio and this is after all that bullshit before hand on how Jorge was going to take him to the next level. Someone needs to advise him to stop looking for others to blame and deal with his own failings. It's not beyond him to fix this, but switching trainers again is not the answer.
