    Default - Latest P4P rankings as of 10/20/08 -

So it looks like the ring dropped off Pavlik from the P4P rankings, moved up Mijares, Marquez & Cotto up one.

And newly added Ivan Calderon on the #10 spot.

Mijares is sooo close to becoming #1 P4P....

A lot can change before the end of the year...

Pac, Joe & Mijares are the only ones left with fights for this year as of now...

Finally! I've always had my top 3 as Pacquiao then Marquez then Calzaghe. Now Ring Magazine agrees with me!

Mijares will move a step or 2 higher if he beats Vic, and say Monteil, but i dont think he'll be number1 unless he moves up in weight. He could beat everybody at bantam, but superbantam may be too strong for even him!

Mick mentioned that the npound for pound list can change quickly in a year.

Its true, look at how it varies from last year. Who would have thought we'd be missing Floyd from the list, Margarito would be above Cotto and Marquez. Hopkins had seemed to be exiting quietly and Pavlik seemed a sure thing.

If Joe beats Roy Jones does he go above Marquez?

To me he does, Marquez has lost twice in the last couple years and his biggest wins have been against fighters in Barrera and Casamayor who were as much past their primes as Hopkins and Jones imo.

Marquez is a great fighter but if Calzaghe beats Joe he should go number 2 in my mind.

Why wasn't Ivan Calderon always in the top 10 ? i've had him in the top 10 for ages.

He was on for a little while until the Cotto upset which brought in Margarito and dropped him off.
