    Default Froch-Taylor

I think this fight is going to happen in the states, i hope so. I think Froch could be the main man to follow calzaghe's reign. taylor will be a good scrap.

I don't think Froch is in Calzaghe's league - I think Taylor beats him and Kessler also. He's done well winning the belt and that fight was cracking but I think a decent boxer takes him.

I think Taylor will find new life at 168...I don't know how he will fight but I am betting he'll feel better making the weight and everything else should fall into place. He needs to work on his legs and his movement and if not that he needs to work on his defense because as I said before he got with Manny Steward (his now former trainer) he jabs very well but he quickly comes too close for his own good and makes his offense useless.

My opinion on this one is that Froch is going to give a very good a/c of himself against Taylor, and slip away from Taylor on the cards, even in the states. Taylor's not that much of a workhorse, and isn't going to pack the punch to catch Froch enough to win.

I think if Froch fights like he did in his last fight, he'll get taken out about the 8th round, as entertaining as the fight was his defence was horrible, and although he show'd a good chin I feel if Taylor was landing those shots he'd take him out

If Taylor were landing those kind of shots at the frequency Pascal did, I think that he'd be breaking the habit of a lifetime. But he's stronger than Pascal, so I imagine Froch would learn to get his hands up a bit more, also breaking the habit of a lifetime.

I agree, Taylor always seemed like a big MW to me so I could picture him doing well @ both 168 & maybe even 175.

Although I agree Froch is limited as to how far he will go, Taylor is getting a little too much praise purely because we want to see Froch beaten.

Taylor wont be strong enough in this division, he got bullied round by welter weights in Spinks and Ouma.

Froch will struggle but ultimately prove too strong and Taylor will graduallly go in to his shell, then Froch yet again gets undeserved plaudits for another "great" fight.

Im fed up about reading how the Pascal fight was a war, it wasnt very good and proved both were over regarded on the skills front

I never thought Taylor was big for a middle weight...

But I dont think Froch has the skills to beat Taylor...I do think Joe would have beat down Taylor handily but with Joe gone I think Taylor has a shot agianst these guys at 68.

I think Taylor has the edge in this fight, in fact I'm leaning towards Taylor by UD. But one thing I saw in the Lacy fight was Jermain still fades a bit down the stretch. That along with his low punch output could enable Froch to outwork him.

Excuse me but what the fuck are you talking about? Ouma and Spinks bullied Taylor around? I haven't seen the Ouma fight since first watching it so never mind that one but Spinks bullied Taylor around? Do you want to explain that please? There needs to be some accountability here.

Froch I don't extremely dislike anymore now that everyone knows what he is, a limited fighter but an exciting one. That's fine by me but I really really doubt he beats anyone in the top 10. Taylor gets stupid at times getting hurt when he doesn't need to get hurt, I wouldn't be shocked if he ended up getting hit with shots he had no business being hit with.

But he looked probably better in his last fight then he ever has, his jab was at it's best, he was stringing punches together beautifully and finally showing that he was a combination puncher and a volume puncher. I think Steward's fighters inevitably become guys who try to get the most they can out of each individual shots thus the reason he doesn't have a lot of high activity fighters. Taylor finally looks settled down and I think he will have a great year. I hope he fights Andre Ward I am more interested in that one then a fight with Froch to be honest.
