"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
I would say Bruno is a little bit the better boxer, did alright against Tyson, but man could Shavers hit hard, I think its whoever hurts the other person first. I've only seen a few of these guys fights mostly in watch other fighters Bruno against Tyson and L.Lewis, and Shavers against Norton, Ali, Holmes.
My guess is Shavers being what I consider the more dangerous puncher I would pick him. I think he would maul Bruno.
Bruno. Both had stamina issues and lacke a back-up plan in the late rounds. But it would have been agreat war. Good question.

Bruno didn't have a weak chin, he had a weak defence! He should've taken a knee against Witherspoon and Lewis, but just stayed against the ropes getting brutalized.
Shavers, slightly better stamina.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Earnie Shavers knocked Bruno out cold, probably around the 8th round.
I'd have to go Shavers. He punched like a mule kicked. He would gas and had a relatively weak chin but his power was unquestioned. Bruno had power also but not like Ernie possessed.
Hey question to whomever may read this: How do the points work on here? I'm new.
Never forget our brothers that have fallen - Remember Gerald McClellan.
Shavers would KO Bruno, IMO.
Big Ernie was nasty with his knockout power. BOOM!

shavers knocks bruno out
Shavers. As Big H said, Bruno had a habit of, um, staying up and getting battered when the smarter thing to do would be to take a knee or try and move or hold. Lean back with your hands down/loose spells big trouble.
That being said for about 4 rounds he looked good against Tyson.
And Shavers seems to be a nice man.
