Looking purely at the quality of opposition and record, you'd have to concede that Taylor has fought in a better quality of opponent, and that it is the undefeated aspect which Froch would hold over him on paper.

Power wise though, we saw Pavlik do the job, has froch got the same power in his work?

Whilst I aggree Jermain Taylor is a talented operator and world class fighter I believe Carl Froch has all the qualities to do a clinical job
Taylor is not the fighter he was his confidence has ebbed away and even if he was at his peak I'd still take the Cobra everyday !
I could talk about Taylor in a negative light but for this fight is all about Froch's power ,speed,strength,ringcraft,durability and skill .

It's the perfect fight for the man from Nottingham , Taylors a big name who has enough skills to make it interesting but in the end i forsee a clinical ending where he gets walked down and brutally dispatched by a man with total and utter self belief .

Froch will take a few rounds to start before freezing Taylor to the spot with a hard right and then finishing him with body shots .

I think if Taylor arrives and serves us with a gunshy showing as he did with Pavlik2 he will be beaten by Froch, who's hunger cannot be questioned.

However, with his improved form vs. Lacy and a couple of losses I think we might see a reinvigorated Jermaine.

Hopnestly, with his head right this guy could be my favourite fighter, he's got the skills and physicality, he's just lacked the mentality in recent outings.

Froch is hungry mind you...Nice guy too.

I don't know about this fight TBH. It's a good matchup but I'm not sure which way it swings. Taylor blows hot and cold, but can box well. Froch, I'm still not sold on him, but good on him for stepping it up.

I hope Froch wins, but if he does I really hope he won't start calling out Calzaghe again. He needs to give that one a rest.

I for one am sold on Froch I think he's waiting for that one big fight to burst out of the pack. This is it ! A big name with something to offer in need of redemption comes up against the new young Lion looking for his next victim !

I've been sold on Froch from day 1 I really believe he will set the Supermiddles alight and vanquish all before him !
Whilst I love Hatton and Calzaghe,Froch just has that x factor we have not quite seen his best but trust Big Dick when he says the guy is Venom .

If you like big Dick, Then I know you're going to love me. Mr Big1. BTW Taylor is on the come back. He looked good against Lacy. If he can box behide his long jab and keep his punches straight, he should have no problem.
