Default Boxers who got beat so bad you felt sorry..

Does anybody feel a kind of sad humiliation and pity for Joe Frazier when you see him getting knocked about like a rag doll in the Foreman fights, esp. the 1st one? Not only that he was the champ and coming off of some stellar victories, like over Ali 2 years before, but that he was a bit too small and was getting shoved and clubbed around so pitifully.

I was about 8 years old when I saw the fight the week later on regular t.v., and can still hear Cosell's dramatic and shocking commentary.

Maybe my young age, and seeing that type of horrific damage being done, I dunno, but it still is kinda upsetting to me in a strange way.

NO other fight I can recall made me feel like that. Does anybody have a particular fight or fighter that they feel something similar to this about? Or am I just seeing it this way for some reason?

I feel sorry for anyone who has to fight Tyson Fury, past or future taking a series of punches from a 6"9 natural Heavyweight ooouch

so you gotta feel sorry for Tyson Fury himself seeing how he took one of his own punches to the face

HAHA - Yeah he almost knocked himself silly....

I felt bad for Lacy and Roy in the Calzaghe fights.....I feel bad for both Izzy and Raf Marquez in their fights. They just beat the crap out of each other.......

I felt bad for Cotto at the end of the Margarito fight.

Watching Steve Molitor get utterly outclassed and knocked out in front of his hometown fans his first time on U.S. tv. That one hurt.

    Foreman - Frazier as well.

Corrales - Mayweather: I wasn't even a boxing fan when it took place, but when I watched it for the first time years later I felt terrible for Chico, one of my all time favorites.

Mora - Forrest II: I'm one of the few fans of Sergio Mora, I was very pleased when he won the title and proved many of his detractors wrong, but Forrest absolutely pummeled him in the rematch.

Paul Ingle in his tragic last fight against Mbulelo Botile, Ingle wasnt right from the first round but showed the heart of a warrior and refused to give up and it ended in a brain clot.Great little fighter a shame it happens every now and then.

I actually did feel sorry for De La Hoya when he lost to Pacquiao...to just see in his eyes that drained and beaten look, it's horrible for someone who once was so hungry for it and then to see him lose it. I actually felt as if Pacquiao went a little less hard on him as the fight went on too, it was harsh.

Now he knows how Chavez felt all those years back

Pac will get beaten like that too when he faces someone younger than himself.
