I like both a hell of alot but I'm just gonna go with Appleby on this one as much as I like Lindsay I just think the Scotsman is too persistent .

Looking forward to this one too, hopefully we'll learn a lot about these tomorrow night.
Well that was lively, enjoyed it. Lacked Skill but not effort![]()

I backed Appleby and knew me money was gone when I heard that crowd. Incredible support.
I'd have backed Lindsay to knock out Haye with that backing.

That crowd was crazy, it definitely helped him when he was hurt to come back. He was the better fighter and boxed very well using angles and his speed. Very good fight.

Yeah.. support like that is priceless.
Thought Lindsay looked better/quicker than he did against Matthews. Hits harder than his record suggests.

good fight - glad to see Lindsay win, but Appleby is a good fighter and he'll come again.
Well, I don't think Appleby will be too sore a loser...apparently this was the richest ever fight at the weight for the British title, and he was getting the thick end of the wedge, so he should be able to keep the wolves from the door for a while, and I imagine that's a big part of why he was willing to go into the bear pit.
And as you mentioned, he's still young and will have plenty of time to bounce back.
Just caught the fight on Setanta just now, great little scrap!
Setanta had it advertised under Penesola v Lopez, did they have that fight too?
