To be fair there are some good points in that, but the fact remains after he beat Tszyu I think Hatton decided to fight his way rather than how the trainer told him to. IMO the problem is/was/has been Ricky & not Graham who he should have stuck with

Really good article and very interesting to hear what Graham thought about it all. I agree with what Jaz said before. Hatton has been walking down his own path for too long. Getting rid of Graham made us think that maybe the training had been a detriment and affecting performances. But this last fight indicates that it was Hatton himself that was the issue all along. There was never any need to get rid of Billy Graham.

Really good article and very interesting to hear what Graham thought about it all. I agree with what Jaz said before. Hatton has been walking down his own path for too long. You can see from some of the workouts for the later Graham instructed
bouts instances where Ricky seemed to be in command of the sessions rather than Graham. You never really know, mayb e he'd just play up to the camera and behind closed doors he'd be more cooperative.

I feel it was a bit of a hindsight interview, especially considering he picked Hatton a clear winner. Also the comments about the Tszyu gameplan being used ever since smacks of re-gurgitated stuff that many people/experts have pointed out for a long time, yet this was the first time we here either Bill or Rick mention it.

Well, I take it lightly as Graham said, before the fight, that he picks Hatton to win within the 8th round. Sure, as the ex trainer of Hatton and as a kind of second father to him he couldn't say Pacman to win the fight but he could have least said: "after a grueling fight, I think Hatton Might make it by UD or by a very late round K.O). No disrespect to him, the man's classy but after having said that and after he fought Floyd, I would have difficulties to truly believe he wouldn't have let Hatton make a couple millions by fighting Pacquiao.
