    Smile PACMAN and MAYWEATHER

Ok soooooo Mayweathers returning right? Against Marquez..... nice choice dangerous but fair enough.... Why is Pacman willing to even step in the ring with Mosley but Mayweather wont? Now he can fight Cotto or try and get mosley belt or fight paul williams why pick on the little guys i think with big wins over Marquez and pacman does nothing but fill up his bank account. Big ups to Pac for willing to take big fights against better opposition than Mayweather. A true champ goes against the odds and fight who ever to prove that they are a warrior. A warrior is Paul william or shane mosley or pacman hopkins and de la hoya. you dont retire early you fight til you are done physically they give us there whole heart. Julio Cesar Chavez 107(86) kos 6losses(4kos)-2 draws.... get my drift or no.... anyone?

Its only a thought from me but it there History

Yes, I am the new guy here, but it seems like every other thread is a Pacman or Mayweather thread. I like both fighters, but absolutely detest their rabid fan base.

Both are great fighters, lets not belittle one or the other's accomplishments.

Mayweather is a fraud, I would respect him if he fought a real welterweight. JMM is a great fighter and I really hope he pulls it off but this is a joke choice by Floyd which people should not buy into literally.

Mayweather - When asked why did he come out of retirement? he stated "Why not?" he also indicated it was for money. What he didn't say was what is his criteria in selecting fight and refused to answer the question but pointed that his people make the recommendations. We all know that since he is his own boss that he makes the choice which seems apparent that the criteria is the most money with the least risk to his undefeated record. I don't think he is specifically picking out the little guys. I think because of his selection criteria it just ends up looking that way. DeLaHoya wasn't quite old enough and ended up being a bigger risk than he would have probably liked when they fought. He might have faced Mosley, who has a big enough draw and is old enough but he proved to be too dangerous against Margarito. So there waas too much risk. Wait another year, let him fight someone else and get a little older, then he'll take him on.

Pacuqiao - When asked who do you face next? "Well... I can face anyone.... but it's the job of my promoter. In Pacquiao's case he trusts Roach with the selection criteria. And it is apparent that he does in fact trust Roach explicitly. Besides Pacquiao is too busy with all kinds of shit to be preoccupied with selecting his next bout.
