Default Can Haye break Vitalis heavyweight record??

If this proposed bout occured on the 20th September would Vitali's record of being the only linear heavyweight champ never to have gone done be broken? Haye's power is very high P4P. He only needs to graze a opponent to take them down. Vitali obviosly has a great chin but the only two boxers to test his chin were Lennonx Lewis and Corrie Sanders (i think Sanders did anyway) and that was half a decade ago.

I don't think this fight will even happen Vitali HAS to fight a mandatory this fall and I believe that's between Oleg Maskaev and Cris Arreola and obviously Maskaev and Arreola won't fight each other before then.

David Haye will have to fight somebody sometime soo, but it won't be a Klitschko, he had the chance and he got injured. I never liked his chances anyway.

David Haye had a poor chin at cruiserweight and he hasn't shown that he's a polished fighter at cruiser or at heavyweight. David Haye has shown power at heavyweight BUT only vs guys who have shown weaker chins. I think Vitali and Wladimir would just destroy David Haye.

I almost forgot david haye boxed for a moment there.

Im so used to him mouthing off at a press conference or attending a showbiz event. My recollection of him in a boxing ring is very vague

It is not like Haye was sparking prime superstar cruiser weights. The division was weak when he was there. Vitali would crush Haye and there is no way Vitali would go down from a Haye punch even if he hit Vitali flush, blindsided from behind when Klit was walking back to his corner in between rounds....

Haye knows he is in over his head at heavy weight that is why he bailed on the last fight. Haye knows he will get sparked and embarassed if he gets in the ring with a true Heavyweight.

thompson got him stopped and mormeck hurt him bad.

David Haye has the physique and cockyness to become a world champ at heavy. But im convinced he`ll never become one and if he does it sure as hell wont come from beating a klitschko!!!!

I think that if age has significantly eroded Vitali's chin and if Haye is able to land a picture-perfect shot or a series of hard punches in quick succession, than he has a chance to put down Vitali. However, I don't think either scenario is likely and I think Vitali dispatches Haye relatively quickly.

wow , isee alot of haye haters and people that are up his ass. I guess you either love him or hate him . Being rational, Haye has good power even as a heavy and is faster than most guys in the division. But then again his chin isnt good and stamina is weak too . But at least he comes in fit to fight and tries. give him credit, he can beat most in the top 10 ring magazine heavyweights

If this is true than why doesnt he fight one?? You are giving Haye more credit than he gives himself.

I'd settle with him firstly defeating a relevant Heavyweight.I believe if Lewis hits Haye on the chin that David would have been left staring at the blurry lights.

Honestly I don't care... he just needs to fight a decent heavyweight soon...

I think Vitali is too strong for Haye, unless his age is starting to tell... didn't see his last fight for myself so I can't really comment on that though.
