Default Naseem Hamed's Toughest Fight In His Prime.

Just watched his fight with Manuel Medina again, and forgot how good this fight was. Naseem Hamed was actually getting outboxed at times, and his head was getting snapped back, especially the one that knocked his mouthpiece out, that was a brutal shot.

Have to give credit to Manuel Medina he showed a ton of heart, but he took a beating in the 11th round. But credit to him he was winning the fight IMO, until he got knocked down twice late on. And the corner had to stop the fight which was the right thing to do, but i recommend anyone this fight its a great fight.

yeah remember it well..Naz was losing that fight but i think the KD's made it close.

also watched Naz's DVD with the inbetween rounds with him blowing his nose, i really belive he had a bug that night.

wasnt that the fight wayne mccullough turned up to and played to the crowd and argued with Warren live on Sky hahahaha funny stuff

Yes it was Saddo the Irish crowd were basically taunting him great stuff, don't know about Wayne McCullough arguing with Frank Warren, because i've only seen it twice, and the one i watched last night didn't show that part.

Naseem Hamed said he had a bug but it couldn't of been that bad. Because he had to dig really deep to win that fight, i just thought Manuel Medina fought a good fight but the power caught up to him. Plus he wasn't a big enough puncher himself to really damage Naseem Hamed.

Yeh that was a toughie for Naz if i remember right he went into the fight with a bad cold after the fight he said he would always go into the ring with 100%.

Paul Ingle gave him a hard fight in the second half of the fight till Naz found the killer shot.

Paul Ingle had Naseem Hamed in quite alot of trouble in the 10th round. Paul Ingle was a pretty good fighter i remember rooting for him, shame what happened to him.

    echo that

manny stewart was ringside that night and went to Naz's corner and told him what to do the next round Ingle was knocked out. and naz started training with manny steward.

funny when you look at the tail end of Naz's career the writing was on the wall... bit like Rickys really.

I was really proud of Paul Ingle when he beat Junior Jones, its funny i remember watching that when i was young. Brings back good memories Paul Ingle used to be one of my favorites, would love to see it again but i haven't seen it since 2000. amazingly no footage of it anywhere which is a shame because i remembered it was a great fight.
