    Default HBO Wants Haye/Valuev

Oops, I meant they dont want Haye/Valuev...

    From ESPN:

After Haye turned tail and ran from Wladimir Klitschko (June 20) and then Vitali (Sept. 12) to sign for a Nov. 7 fight against Nikolai Valuev, I received a lot of questions from the Fight Freaks during last week's chat asking whether HBO, which Haye blew off by backing out of both fights, would be interested in televising Valuev-Haye. So I asked HBO Sports president Ross Greenburg about it. His answer was short and sweet: "We have no interest in a Valuev versus Haye fight." I don't blame him one iota.

Why waste time setting up to televise a fight that may not happen. There is still the chance the WBA may not sanction it anyway, regardless of whether Haye shows up to fight or not.

Well there goes the HBO is only interested in David Haye angle.

I wonder how many fans go to see that fight, I'm thinking LESS than 61,000 people

I wouldnt pay to watch this if they promised to have heidi klum shooting ping pong balls out of where the sun dont shine

If haye is serious about wanting wlad/vitali then he`ll go off on valuev from round 1 and take him out not run rings around him for 12 rounds which any half decent heavyweight can do.

    My prediction......

f*ck all happens for 12 rounds other than the occasion burst from haye which lands him a 116-112 decision on the cards. He`ll then proceed to rant for 5-10minutes to whoever is interviewing him about how he told us all he`d be a heavyweight champ and how now the klitschkos should stop running scared yadda, yadda, yadda.

Both brothers will offer to fight him on the next available date and david will oncemore draw it out another 7-8months before declaring himself unfit again

As much as I would LOVE Valuev to KO Haye, I know it's not going to happen, so all I want now is for Valuev to hurt David, maybe knock him down.

I still have my doubts about this fight happening considering both fighters are chickenshit

HAHAHAHAHA......I wonder if David is still expecting the 2.7 million pounds from the PPV buys that he was expecting vs Wlad and Vitali

Yeah right, the WBA will sanction a barbecue. They are absolute whores when it comes to sanctioning fees.

I think Haye should be happy about this. Imagine Larry Merchant asking Haye about the Klitschko brothers? If someone isn't afraid to ask any questions, it's him! Haye could say what he wants but Merchant would press the issue of him ducking and being scared to fight them.

I was gonna say, even if he had it's hardly surprising they don't want to show him anymore.
