    Default 102 Minotauro vs. Couture

So who've you guys picked for this fight?

They're dubbing it as "The Ground and Pound Machine" vs. The jiu jitsu speciaist.

Have to say I think a prime Nog beats most, but he may be a little farther removed from his prime than Randy.
I actually think this will be a good fight sheerly because of both guys attitudes.

Randy takes this and I think he beats Nog at just about any point in their career.

    You think so?

I dunno, I personally think Nog was a far more technically proficient mixed martial artist.

Well I don't think his standup is as good as Randy's and while he is a tremendous submission artist he isn't a better wrestler. He is going to have a hard time getting Randy to the ground and even there Randy is a well seasoned pro that would prove very hard to submit. The thing about Nog was his ability to sustain a tremendous pace and take a ton of punishment before pulling out a sub. I just don't see Randy giving him an opportunity to get the sub and I don't see him winning the fight standing. I don't expect to see a real barn burner of a fight now or if they had fought years ago.

Randy wins it standing up and Nog wins if it goes to the ground.
I think Randy is too clever for Nog and will knock him out in the third. However if Randy tries to wrestle Nog against the cage like many other people he has fought, he may get caught out and submitted.
