If you haven't seen this guy fight you need to. He is absolutely awesome. 1st round destruction of Sobral last night. Even more brutal than when Chuck iced him. This guy may be the best test for Silva out there.

I just watched it on youtube, first time to see him, pretty brutal ground and pound. I assume he's a pretty good striker on his feet?
He is the closest thing I've seen to Fedor. Very good standing and a dangerous ground fighter as well. His has Fedor's cool demeanor. He never seems rattled or in a hurry. He just wins. Strikeforce can't offer him much at 205 and it is rumored he wanted the UFC anyway but got hosed by his management. If he fights at 185 I think we might see the Dream/Strikeforce collaboration happen with Mousasi and Filho fighting. Outside of that and Cung Le his opponents are pretty limited.

Looks like his next opponent is Sokoudju in October and it seems he has no interest anymore in 185. Plans on fighting at 205 and eventually HW. Maybe they can get Arona or Lil Nog to fight him

mousasi won the DREAM MW GP and immidiately said he was going to move up in weight, DREAM came up with a freakshow GP and had him fight mark hunt
the next round would be mousasi vs sokoudoudju and minowa vs hong man choi
that is in october and the final is possibly set for NYE, but DREAM has been considering having it sooner
I know Mousasi since a long time, I watched him during one of his training session. This guy has the all package, awesome Kick boxing tools ( he beat Musashi in the recent K1 rules) he has solid background in BJJ and Wrestling. at the beginning it was really his flaw, but he trained so much in BJJ that he became a good at submission when he wants.
Good chin and good stamina. I think that he shouldn't go beyond 205. there are a tons of fighters he can beat (Machida included). Sounjoukou is a joke...
btw he will perform a demonstration with Fedor at the next M1 challenge. having seen the sparring of Fedor and Aoki some months ago, I'm sure it's going to be interesting :-)
