Default Great but sad tv interview with Darren Sutherlands father

RTÉ.ie Media Player: Tony Sutherland on The Late Late Show

Quite a shock his family were not told for over 4 hours, and also finding out through internet social networking sites, also if you watch it he seems to struggle to say Frank Maloney as if he was some bad blood towards him,

Still can't get my head around Darren's death, something is not adding up. The fact there was no note or any indication to his parents that something was wrong is baffling, because he was a genuine family man. He would know how much it would hurt his parents to be left with so many questions regarding his death... it's bizarre.

I always comsider other things these days, when its not crystal clear on all the details, sometimes the cops let it go for the sake of some familys. Its been known that some family members clear up before calling the cops in some of the stranger cases.
The sexual practice of asphyxiation has removed many people some famous, from the planet. We lost a farming couple from down here recently. The cops at first thought murder suicide. Turns out they were a very loving couple real close with three well loved kids. The Father and mother were practicing it and she didnt wake from it. He shot himself in the head down in the shed and left a note saying how sorry he was, it was a mistake and he coudnt live without her now and how he couldnt live with it and for the eldest daughter to take good care of the youngest two. Took them along time to figure it all out.
Not saying that happened here,I havent read it, but it does happen.

Frank Maloney who found Him Collapsed and was in Hospital , Think that could have caused the delay.

That is heart breaking for his family. Still shocked about this.

Such a promising future ahead of him. I guess sometimes you can never know what is truly going on in someones head, regardless of how they seem on the outside.

Frank Maloney wasnt the only one who found Darren, I find it unbelievable they had to find out through networking sites.

Agreed, it is pretty amazing that nobody thought to call his family first and foremost. As Darren's Father said, Maloney has staff and secretaries and whatever else. I'm sure they were in the know long before Darren's family, which doesn't seem quite right...
