Default Dirrel appears to be somewhat loopy

I was looking for some build up to Froch/Dirrel and came across this footage of the pre fight presser. Dirrel looks to be on drugs or suffering from some kind of behavioural disorder. Or perhaps he has been eating too many sugary products. Anyway, he appears to be a very strange man.

I hope Froch batters some sense into him!

Look at the footage of Dirrell at 2 minutes in...the guy is utterly raving!

It makes Dirrell look nervous and uncertain IMO.

Dirrell always seems a tweeker.Watching his brothers last fight he was determined to have just as much camera time.

Think Froch will be outclassed early but grinds Dirrell down for a tko.Hope so.

Haha he does have the head waving maneuver down pat.

To be fair I didn't see anything that crazy in the press conference, they both said the same thing really, Froch said if he really trained hard he might go a few rounds and Dirrell said he'd KO him. No biggie really.

I would love it if Dirrell won but I really don't know what to expect from him, this is a massive step up, not even so much opponent wise although it is a step up, having to go to England, heading a Showtime major card, etc.

Lol, that's just hype Miles. Check the video that Skel posted to see Froch being a complete knob, the other side of the what you see there. If Dirrell beats him, I'm getting seriously drunk to celebrate

Haha, all in good fun! Will check out that other video too.

Should be a great weekend of boxing with all this SMW action, bring it on!

That was nerves. Dirrel is trying to psyche himself up and at the same time show a wierdness that he hopes may unsettle Froch. I have done the same in a couple of street encounters. The logic is the same as if he was to stare through Froch perhaps in a cross-eyed way.

I am looking forward for this one.

Yea he does seem a bit crazy here.
On the other hand on that preview show 360 he comes across as a decent pretty down to earth guy.

Listen guys ever see wwe same thing here. What happens outside the ring means shit, neither of these guys have proven anything and they are both " loopy " till they can prove in the ring otherwise. Direll no matter how strange has an extremely big chance of pulling a tim bradley here. Whatever energy either has to move thier big mouth they should save for sat. Loose and no one will care what they have to say anyway

I can understand the need to get hyped for a fight, but there are ways and means. You don't see Marquez, Calzaghe or Barrera getting "hyped" up like a wind up doll whose string has been pulled too far. Even my other favourite Toney is seldom that hyperactive. Though Barrera has been known to slap on occasion and Toney does lose control of his mouth (and his waistline). Dirrell looked like he has some kind of physical handicap or something and was wailing away like a little girl. It was a bit embarrassing really, but very funny. You could see Froch was thinking "I'm dealing with a mentalist!".

It's all just pre fight banter, but I hope Dirrell gets sparked. He's annoying with all that hysterical wobbly head nonsense.

Dirrell also has a lasses voice so not only does he look stupid, he also sounds twatful when mouthing off.
