Damn I loved it when he was the ref especially in the Rocky II. All kidding aside rest in peace Lou we all could you use more ref's like you in this sport.
CutMeMick actually knew Lou. He brought us the news a couple years ago that his wife died so hopefully they can both rest in peace now. I have a Lou Fillippo action figure.

I lost a good friend Monday, last I talked to him was at the amateur boxing event in El Monte a few back.
Man...
So many great we've lost in our sport.
Lou though I know I thanked you plenty of times it just never feels like it's enough for your friendship. Thank you once again for taking the time with me and opening yourself up. I will always cherish and carry our conversations in my heart.
