I'm sure it's all bullshit and hype, but this would not go well for Hopkins.

If Hopkins move to HW, you can be assured that it,s because it is his very last fight. The guy has cheated time over and over but I am not certain if he has the body frame to support HW. Sure, we could never count the old man's out but this is a bold move to get over a career at 45 years old indeed.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
I have the utmost respect for Hopkins. While I think he would've wasted a built-up Haye 10-20 years ago, he's going grey now. He can't possibly be serious about a move to heavyweight, even with his experience. Can he even be sure the Jones fight will go his way?
Even at 45 Hopkins would still be dangerous for Haye![]()
i posted this a couple of months ago.. i always knew bhop would go for this.
dont Fuck with the chuck
All about how bhop could progress as a natural heavy
perhaps hayemaker could get david back down to 200 and they could do it at cruiserweight?
one dangerous horrible bloke
you all know B-Hop's only probably willing to take the fight because he'll be 46 by then and if he beats Haye he wins the WBA title, hence making him the oldest champion ever, putting one more notch in his belt and basically polishing a legacy that as of now is already stellar, but i don't think that it'll really happen, on the Jones/Hopkins II fight, i don't even really think it should take place, i only see Jones getting beat up badly, and well i've already seen that happen too many times
Hopkins has been interested in heavyweight for a while... but wants an opponent - by his own account - that is not super-sized. He was willing to fight Maskaev a couple of years ago, but Samuel Peter spoiled that opportunity.
To the brave belong all things.
I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Hopkins beat Haye
It would be an interesting fight to sell. What with the chiseled black 21st century David, even more muscled than Michalangelo's, swaggering around the media circuit right now with his bold tale of how he slew the mighty giant it would be a heady pleasure indeed for me to see him toppled and humbled by a tiny old man, with, (for those familiar with Biblical history) Hopkins playing the unlikely role of Nathan the Prophet......
This is an interesting fight.
