    Default Ali Funeka-Joan Guzman

Who wins and why? I had only a vague idea that this fight was actually taking place. Great fight, who wins?

The biggest waste of talent in boxing will win.. hopefully. Some of Funeka's form is seriously ropey, but obviously his freaky size must cause problems.

The sad thing with Guzman is, he's likely to get beat soon because of his age and lack of dedication catching up with him. Then they'll be the forum "experts" saying "i told ya so" he was always overrated and shit, laughable to think he could have competed with Pac, Marquez et al. Shame.

Yup, agreed. Hopefully he reasserts himself as a P4P talent this fight but if he's diminished, Funeka could certainly catch him slipping.

i pick funeka by decision. guess funeka is used to box with slick boxers. he defeated the grandpa of slick boxers, zahir raheem. his size and longer reach will give guzman real problems.

    I like Guzman by decision.

I wouldn't count Funeka out especially with his power.

I think the HattonHammer option should be a mandatory for every fight poll now.

For some reason I have this feeling Funeka but once I go ahead and pick him Guzman will look like he hasn't lost anything and befuddle him.

I've al but given up on betting on the Puncher but in this case it's a little bit different. Guzman has been out of the ring so long, im sure he'll look poor and get beat quite badly.

For me it's really hard to envision what a fighter like guzman is doing with his time. He could be on top of his game!

I hope he has been sitting on his ass again, comes in overweight, and blows another fight so we can just write him off. He throws the whole division upside down when he actually fights!

Trumendous talent, chin, heart, power, and he's slick to boot!

U der no circumstances is guzman going to stop him IMO.

with Guzman's tendency to open up and funekas long reach and power i see guzman on his ass. but maybe hell run again just like he did against soto.
