    Would like to know aswell,

I have been clenching my fist on impact and let it relax when i'm not punching. But some people tell me i should alway's use clenched fists.

For me, parrying punches with relaxed fists is alot easier than with clenched fists

I agree its much easier to parry with an open relaxed hand, i believe also to throw fast, smooth punches it helps greatley when your body is relaxed if i clench my fists my jab turns from a whip into a sort of prod, hah! =D i think i read somewhere that bruce lee used to believe that if u didnt clench your fist until the moment of impact it would be a much snappier punch.

For me yes. Try and move with anything clenched and see how slow it feels.

Box with the fist in position but relaxed, its easier to open than close Ive found its a good Habit. I think it saves Hand injurys.
