    Default Active Jr. Welters

This division in the past two years has shaped into a surprisingly strong weight class. I'm very happy to see things progressing for the Jr. Welters as I've always been a fan of what the division has to offer as far as speed, power, movement and stamina coupled together.

    It's really looking solid.

    Tim Bradley
    Ricky Hatton
    Nate Campbell
    Juan Diaz
    Juan Urango
    Paulie Malignaggi
    Victor Ortiz
    Lamont Peterson
    Kendall Holt
    Amir Khan
    Marcos Maidana

There's alot of good fights to be made right now in this division.

love the way you yanks sarcastically put the guy who`s been in with ednar cherry above the very man who has twice fought for the title of best p4p title in the world.

    Its not lost on me....

Hatton beats every single one of those guys....if neccesary 2 at a time!!

You seriously are beginning to worry me with your obsession with Hatton.

Bradley at this moment in my eyes is ahead of Hatton in the rankings. He has unifed two belts in the past 12/18 months and has been active Hatton would loose to a few on that list.

And was twice KTFO, last time out at 140, in 2 rounds. I suppose that's of no bearing when determining where he ranks in his division though? The only fighter anywhere close to p4p that Hatton ever beat was Tsyzu, YEARS ago. Would it be as ludicrous to rank David Haye above say, Larry Holmes, should he make a return to the ring? I'd definetly pick Bradley over Hatton at this point in time, and that's without even accounting for the likehood of Hatton being impacted by the layoff and dropping so much weight. Also, I know it was a typo, but it's cracking me up how you wrote Hatton fought for the title of best p4p "title". That was his illusion exactly.

no wonder Hammer is such a Hatton fan....

he's just as fucking dumb lol there is no such thing as the goddam "p4p title" if we were goin by that DLH is leaps and bounds ahead of Hatton seeing how he's gone up against the guy considered p4p #1 on 3 separate occasions Hopkins, Mayweather, Pacquiao lol and he lost all 3 the same, doesn't make him a p4p quality fighter anymore today

Your kind of cementing my arguement here bud. You point to Hatton's biggest wins, and fail to factor in the most recent being 3 years ago? Are you taking into account his two biggest fights both being losses, occuring AFTER his biggest wins?
What the hell does his past glory have to do with where he should be ranked currently? Of course his resume trumps Bradleys, and he WAS a better fighter, to say they are currently headed in opposite directions is a bit of an understatement though.
In the last 2 years Hatton rebounded after the Floyd loss by looking extremely shaky at home at being in big trouble against Juan Lazcano, then he bounced back with a good win against a perfect stylistic matchup for him in Powderpuff, then was completely annhialated in 2 rounds against Pacman, and has since balooned up as much as he ever has, and contemplated retirement several times. We don't even know if he's ever going to fight again as it stands.. Bradley on the other hand is improving vastly and looked sensational against a very good fighter who proved his worth in Peterson. I think Bradley has the dynamics to beat Hatton clearly at present, and to imply that it's somehow Nationalistic for other's to share that view is fairly sad imo.

I can't believe your regarding Hattons win over Castillo as a big one.

Everyone knows that Castillo was shot against Hatton.

The best wins on Hattons resumes are Tszyu (past his prime), Collazo, Malignaggi and i suppose Urango is a decent win also.

So out of 47 fights, Hatton only has four names worth mentioning on his resume.

Bradley has had 26 fights and holds wins over Junior Witter ( somone Hatton ducked), Kendall Holt and Lamont Peterson. Thats a solid resume considering he is only 26.

Castillo Are you serious mate, you class that as a good win, Castillo was past it he got a lucky decision on the Urango undercard.

Bradley beat Holt who was the WBO champ and ranked 4 when Bradley beat him, he also beat the then WBC champ Junior Witter in his own back
yard the same guy Hatton has been ducking for best part of ten years, he also beat the experienced Nate Campbell and just beat another unbeaton prospect this last weekend, Bradley has done all this nearly two years before Hatton actully fought anyone world class.

Hammer your good for a laugh mate but your Hatton posts are comical and make you look rather foolish at times.

    let me guess this right

Castillo fought hatton the night he suddenly became past his prime
Tszyu fought hatton the night he suddenly became past his prime
Hatton ducked witter...was offered millions to fight in the US, offered hundreds of thousands to fight witter in the UK
kendall holt and lamont peterson are far better fighters than what hattons ever been in with.........and beat

Jesus christ, shall we just stick ricky in with zelenoff and have done with it while were at it??

The point is we are talking about now. What has Hatton done in the last 3 years to suggest he is still the best 140 pounder in the world? Im convinced Bradley would do better against Pac and PBF than Ricky did (couldnt do much worse). Bradleys style would have given Tszyu problems as well, and thats coming from a Kostya fan.
