    Default Men and fitness classes

As some of you know, I regularly go to the gym and have been doing so for almost a year. In an attempt to challenge myself and to keep my body guessing by trying different exercises, I've recently began attending the odd fitness class. Now, I don't mean dance classes or aerobics class, but stuff like core strengthening (or other strength-based classes). I've gone to maybe 4 or 5 classes and on average there are 1-3 men in these classes and about 20+ women. Admittedly, this makes me feel quite self-conscious and I'm wondering if there is any sort of social stigma attached to a man doing this sort of thing. It wouldn't stop me from going, because I like the challenge, but I feel so goddamn uncomfortable there sometimes.

    Thoughts?

Seriously though, our gym we have about 9 girls to 1 guy at least for the fitness classes so am guessing it is fairly standard. They just give a shit more about how they look then us. Try going somewhere like the YMCA and be in those guys gym locker rooms for a while. they be all walking around naked with old man balls hanging down by their knees n shit...you'll be back to that class pronto and be glad for it.

I go to the Y pretty much every day (it's my gym and the classes I'm talking about are offered there) and the old men in the locker room do seem to enjoy wandering around without purpose fully nude.

For whatever reason, being pretty much the only dude there makes me a bit uncomfortable. I went to an "On the Ball" class (balance and core strength) and we have to do this exercise where we made a shoulder-bridge on an exercise ball and basically pelvic-thrusted towards the ceiling. I was the only dude, surrounding by young attractive women while thrusting my junk towards the sky. It was hilarious.

You should consider redefining your sexuality and get Steelie's phone number.

On a more serious note, it seems that women are more interested in fitness classes from where I'Ve seen as here too it seems to be fairly more popular with women. I think there is nothing bad in attempting these classes, especially because it helps to varies the routine.

I would go to a fitness class full of fit birds. It would be gay not to.

If your prancing around in a pink leotard dancing to a madonna tune you could have a whole room of naked sweaty gymnasts and it still wouldnt make that situation any less gay

I've been thinking about this for a while. My gym does some Boxercise and some circuit training classes which seem to be filled by women. I've been wanting to go actually but for the same reason as stated, i haven't really bothered yet.

Fuck sounds alright, women usually wear tight clothing when working out so I reckon it just gives you good exercise with some great visuals
