I feel like BUTE is on easy streak with that belt he should really be in the super middle wieght tournament. Will he Ever fight another belt holder or take the easy route? I think if he entered he'd be the worst fighter in the tournament.

I think Bute has the potential to be the best fighter in a stacked SMW division. He was in a tough spot after the Andrade fight. He agreed to a rematch because of the somewhat controversial nature of the fight, which he had to do or he would have be justifiably raked over the coals, but as a result he was unable to get into the Super 6. If he was in the tourny though I would favor him to win, but not without losing along the way. I think he'd beat Kessler, Froch, Abraham, and Taylor/Green; but Dirrell and Ward would give him some trouble.
I like Bute alot he is very skilled fighter, not alot of options at 168 for him at the moment.
Bute is in a very good position at 168. He doesn't have too many big challenges at the moment, he should handle Miranda without taking much punishment.
Meanwhile the reasonable opposition is left destroying each other in the tournament, aside from Ward everyone in the tourney has taken a lot of punishment and there's a lot left to go. At some point Ward should meet some resistance and take some damage as well.
So once the S6 is over Bute should be able to handle the winner pretty easily.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
if Bute was in the super six i'd say that it would be between him and Ward to win it
There are still a few options about.
A Pavlik fight has been mentioned as a possibility.
Stieglitz isnt great but atleast has a belt.
Dawson could move down or Bute could move up.
Bika is a reasonable opponent to keep busy with.
Maybe even Winky Wright might fight him if he gets a good offer.
Bute should Unify the rest of the Super Middleweight belts right now so that when the Super Six tournament is over they will have to fight him.
Terror, I think you're tripping with that statement. I hear you on the fact that Miranda is an easy fight for Bute unless Miranda has improved tremendously since his last fights.
Who does Bute fight in his division with the other top 6 guys out for the next year?
It should be Hopkins or Pavlik. Stieglitz ain't leaving Germany, let's be real. Diaconu may be a big fight in Montreal at a catchweight.
Bute can't fight who isn't there....And that is a hard fact because everyone else is wrapped up in the Super6...
Bute though is top notch with great skills and pretty tough chin....IMO only Ward gives him something to worry about...I am not even going to say that solidly until I see how Ward does against the other Super 6 opp....He was great against Kessler but it has been proven over time that guys can have that 1 great performance then next time look like shit

Bute is one of those guys who you can look at in two different ways, he's gotta string of solid wins (not Miranda, which was a total farce) but he hasn't even sniffed an elite opponent.
That's why this super six is so great. Talk all you want about Dirrell being a puss he's been put through the wringer, he is far far more tested than Bute and should probably be ranked higher at 168 considering he's beat two champs in a row.
