I am surprised nobody mentioned this, i think it would be a great fight for shane, a loss to floyd doesnt mean to much, it just means you lost to floyd, i think it would be great for him to end a career as middleweight champ, perfect way for sugar to go out.....and for all those who say mosley looked old,just go wacth the forrest or winky fights...and then the margarito fight......and then watch all the other fighers floyd has fought, when they are not fighting floyd, and then when there in the ring with floyd.....anyways who like mosley vs martinez

clearly, mosley is on the downside of his career while sergio martinez, although 35 yo. old, seems to be getting better and better. this fight will be all wrong for mosley. martinez will cruise to a wide UD and further cement my thoughts that mosley simply is getting too old to hang with the very elite.

The size differential is all I would worry about here. Martinez is slick & skilled, but his speed isn't on the Mayweather/Pacquiao level & if Shane could carry it up, I wouldn't be surprised if he took this.

Pretty good momentum crossroads for both.I cant see Mosley beating Martinez now.Have never been big on Mosley at 154,especially with what he brought lastnight.Martinez is no Mayweather but I think hes too mobile for Mosley.

It seems to me that Martinez would handle Mosley the same way Mayweather did.

Maybe Martinez gets knocked down in round two and maybe he never recovers, but that would be the least likley outcome of a fight between them.

Think you may be right, i didnt expect him to win but i certainly didnt expect him to get beat like that. Ive always said once a guy like mosleys reflexs begin to go its time for them to call it a day.

Though i still would say he`d give willams and martinez the toughest night of their lives and could well prove to have just too much ring smarts for the pair of them
