    Default Dream Fight Ringside seat

Purely out of interest if you could have a ringside seat for just 1 fight what would it be?

Can be a fight from the past, a dream fight you would like to see between active fighters today or even a fight between guys from the past that never happened or fighters from different eras or divisions.

    Give your reasons

I narrowed it down to 3 fights:
De la hoya v Vargas - was a huge fan of Vargas when he was a young champ and i bought in to the whole bad blood thing. I believe Vargas was ahead on 2 cards when he was stopped? DLH is a living legend.

i would have loved to have seen La motta beat Robinson as they fought 5(?) times and la motta only won once he must have fought out of his skin. SRR maybe GOAT and La motta was tough as nails

One for the future PBF v Pac as it p4p 1 + 2 facing off and im massive fan of both and there's so many questions surrounding the matchup that i'd love to be able say in 30 years time that i was there.

ok i did say only 1 fight so if i could be ringside for just 1 fight i'm going with pbf v pac as it's actually possible i might just make it! lol

For me The Rumble In The Jungle, to be there for such an iconic event is pretty special.

Either that or Duran Leonard I, again for same reasons.

Incidently I'm absolutely determined to be at the Pac PBF fight if it happens. I'll sell my damn car if needs be. When selling the idea to the lads in the pub about coming with me I say 'imagine how fuckin awesome it would be to say that you we're at Duran Leonard' - well for me in 30 years time it would be exactly like that for Floyd n Pac.

I've even got my car advert all typed out with pics ready for Ebay for when the fight's announced. This shit comes round once in a genration!

rumble with the jungle it has to be for me too

    others

despite its tragic ending Benn v McClellan (sat next to Frank )

    Hagler v Hearns

Would consider Pac v PBF if it came off (hopefully not Vegas, theres talk of a stadium possibly) but am not going to get my hopes up about this one just yet

It would have to be one of the 1900's probably Harry Crebs first fight with Gene Tunney or Terry McGoverns second fight with Young Corbett.

Tough choice either that or back further into the no gloves days.

Outdoors in an open arena when they fought shorter rounds but up to a hundred minutes of fighting or more. You couldnt book a hotel room for 20 miles around any of those fights back then, they were so popular.
Can you imagine the aptmosphere! Standing there ringside in the bare dirt getting your pockets picked by cheap women in between side bets .

Foreman V Frazier 1- Foreman demolishes unbeaten conqueror of Ali in 2 rounds

Leonard V Duran 1- One of the greatest fights ever
