Just had the watch on it, we are looking at 13 seconds here! I could count faster than that when i was 5! What's the ref looking around for? He was stalling!!!

Nice seeing it side by side again. Also puts into perspective how one fighter was out on his feet on mostly instinct, hands down at side pitched forward and one was much more clear and resuming offense posture and walked back to own corner.

Buster Douglas wasn't that hurt at all, he actually pounded the canvas in anger. Because he got caught sleep walking. He was just taking the full count like any fighter should do which is smart.

In the next round he gave Mike Tyson an absolute hammering, i think people seem to forget that fact.

he did indeed - was always going to be able to beat that count imo.

I watched the fight in full last night for first time in years after viewing this thread - with american commentary for first time. Always interesting to hear different commentaries and perspectives (must have watched UK one with Ian Darke, Colin Hart and Holyfied comments a couple of dozen times).

It never ceases to amaze me how Douglas performed that night - absolutely incredible. Maybe the recent death of his mother had a lot to do with that.

Also sad how he never had the determination to follow it up and cement a legacy - took the money and ran
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
