New iPhone 4!

O2 have made a cock up and have just at random delivered me a brand spanking new iPhone 4.

No joke, I got a txt from them last night to say my order was out of stock, then another this morning to say my item was being delivered and then more throuout today as DHL moved it around and it ended up at my house!

I'm assuming this error has come about from me switching my other halfs pay and go number to the new account I set up when I bought her a new iPhone 4 the other day, the guy on the phone was an idiot and clearly didn't have a clue what he was doing, so I'm assuming he has ordered me a new iPhone in error.

Now I have no morals, so this isn't a question of if I should let them know of their mistake, I am 100% going to be keeping this phone. My question is about transfering all the stuff from my current iPhone 3GS to my new iPhone 4. How do I do it?

Am I right in saying any paid for apps I've got are saved under my Itunes account, so when I register that email address I can download them all again, but without having to pay twice?

I'm pretty sure I'm in the middle of fucking this up right now. I had already synced the mrs iphone to my laptop and now I'm attempting to sync mine instead. I have a feeling I'm about to wipe my old phone while trying to back up

As long as I can re-download my apps for free I don't mind. Some of them (like some crappy magic trick one ) cost me nearly £2!

that's what I call a happy mistake indeed (even though I don't like iphone, that's the hell of a good surprise), I found 10 pounds yesterday in a parking in Luxembourg and I thought that I was damn lucky, seems like some have a better karma than I at the moment

I just switched to a blackberry of years of Nokia - jesus its confusing. Cant believe how some functions that been on Nokias since lats 90s are not even on these new phones ! eg no call timers

I now have the saddo app!

Managed to transfer EVERYTHING from my old iPhone, it took across all txt messages, voicemails etc. Very happy.

Had to cut my sim card to shape with scissors last night as the new iPhone uses a micro sim, which is basically the same sim, just smaller. A few cuts later, I made my own micro sim and it works perfect!

'Already tried. It's not just about sim card size or shape compatibilty. I got my roaming cards (Smart and Globe) in the Philippines. AT&T said they can't do shit about it cuz they're outside of north American territory.

With these cards...





My friends around the world can call me or text me almost free of charge. Huge $aving.

I'm sure any Filipino here knows what I'm talking about.

no mate its iphone only at the minute... will look into the BB system to see what i need but to be honest all you really need to do is surf to the site via your BB and the site will server you the phone mode and just bookmark the site via your phone.

The iPhone view is actually easier to navigate than via normal web, even on the PC.
