Default David Lemieux vs Hector Camacho JR possible showdown in october

At least, that's what RDS.Ca is reporting and according to them, it would come from Dan Raphael of ESPN. IT would be on October 29 at the Bell Center in Montreal during the "fast and furious" series.

Not a big deal to me, he's still young and kinda on a Saul Alvarez path staying very busy. Camacho is just another name on the list.

at least though with Baldomir he was in against a guy who was known for having an iron chin and for becoming the lineal Welterweight champ, what does Camacho Jr have to offer?

A name, a stay busy fight, that's all this is. Camacho at least has experience against some good opponents, so it's feasible he could give Lemieux a few extra rounds. Who is he going to fight at super middle at this point? Andrade? Bute? I don't think his publicity level is where it needs to be to cash in on a major fight yet. I don't think he's with Golden Boy is he?

he could take on some middleweights, Duddy, Rubio, Soliman, etc. someone around those lines, might as well take on an experienced fighter who doesn't look like he's pregnant at 154 god imagine at 168

Solimon just fought this week, Rubio just fought like a month ago, Duddy I guess is a possiblity but he took a bad beating against JCC2, not sure his handlers would put him in with a heavy puncher if he would come back and fight. What do you expect from a fight that's going to happen next month? A serious opponent?

I mean we are seriously talking about a fight that's 20ish days away.
