    Default The new Valero

I see the late Edwin Valero's brother won his third fight tonight and is now 3-0 with three ko's all in the first round!

Not seen him fight, in fact I didn't know he even existed until 5 mins ago but I will hope that has somehow got some of his brother's power and ability.

    He's certainly started well.

He won tonight in 39 seconds.

I genuinely thought this was going to be a thread about David Lemieux.

Whenever I hear or think about Valero, I got this awful feeling. Such a tragic story.

Hopefully he'll be a bit more mentally stable than his brother. I didn't know he existed either, will definitely keep an eye out for him in the future

I saw the footage, he's fast and very powerful, not a complete copy but he seems to have that mean streak also. I read he punched his brother Edwin out in an argument but I don't know if it's true. He fights just like him though, it's a bit strange to watch.

I also though it would be someone else. The kid has long way to go. but he definitely has that familiar strong punch of Edwin.

Great videos guys. Wow that is in an uncanny similarity

I'm actually excited by that, and hope that somehow Edwin's warrior spirit (if not murderer spirit) lives on in his brother and in a couple years time we will have another Valero approaching 18-0 with 18 first round KO's.

Sounds like a long shot, but the way they seem to be marketing suggests they have exactly the same idea too.

I wouldn't be that surprised if he bangs out a few consecutive first round wins for a while.........

Fuck me! If that's not 2 of the most telegraphed punches ever at the :45 sec mark and the 1:08 mark...

He's like a carbon copy of his brother.
I think he's slightly faster a bit more wild with wider shots but he actually put his hands up and blocked shots also showed some really good waist movement.

Do you reckon he will pick up a belt like his brother did Mick? It's remarkable how similar they both are I think. I'm actually really excited to see how he develops.

    That makes three of us.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

To be fair, it wasn't an original thought of mine. I'm pretty sure I saw someone else call Lemiuex 'the new Valero' in another thread.

Interesting to see how his chin holds up against stronger opponents
