Default Saddoboxing's 2010 Awards (Voting Now Open)

All right bitches, here it is. It's our annual years-end awards. So stand up and make your voice heard, and some of you (not Bilbo) might be invited to join Mick at his annual awards ceremony.

So, without further ado, here are the questions (shamelessly stolen from CMM). If you feel that other categories should be included, feel free to suggest them and I will react with appropriate levels of scorn and derision.

    Fight of the Year:
    Fighter of the Year:
    Round of the Year:
    Upset of the Year:
    Worst Fight of the Year:
    Knockout of the Year:
    Event of the Year:
    Robbery of the Year:

I'll make my picks later but I think a 'hottest weight class' of the year award could be interesting too.

Is there normally a 'comeback of the year' award? Not for a comeback in one particular fight but for a fighter that has comeback to have success this year after seemingly being 'washed-up'/inactive.

Upset of the Year: Jean Pascal over Chad Dawson
Worst Fight of the Year: Derick Chisora vs. Danny Williams
Knockout of the Year: Sergio Martinez KO Paul Williams
Event of the Year: Pacquiao vs. Clottey at Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

The pre-fight National Anthem award would by FAR go to the Dalas Cowboys' cheerleaders for their effort prior to the Margarito Pac fight..... Absolutely beautiful voices, wonderfully sung, and just gorgeous girls.... I would honestly buy an Album by them if they made one...

Fight of the Year - Khan - Maidana
Fighter of the Year - Sergio Martinez
Round of the Year - One of the earlier rounds in the Katsidis - Marquez fight, not sure which.
Upset of the Year - Ricky Burns winning a world title
Worst Fight of the Year - Haye - Harrison,
Knockout of the Year - Everyone is going to say Martinez over Williams, so i'll go with Frenkel ko'ing Enzo Mac
Event of the Year - Pacquiao - Margarito
Robbery of the Year - Pascal's draw Hopkins is the most high profile. The fact that Hopkins won 9 rounds and still didn't win annoys me a little. The knockdowns were scrappy and one of them was a borderline illegal punch. There will have been bigger robberies, but this one annoyed me more than any other.

I've always been pro-democracy, but if you disagree with these you're clearly wrong!

Fight of the Year: Khan v Maidana
Fighter of the Year: James DeGale
Round of the Year: Chisora v Sexton Round 9....loved seeing Sexton finally getting a taste of justice!
Upset of the Year: Ricky Burns v Roman Martinez
Worst Fight of the Year: Haye v Harrison
Knockout of the Year: Ashley Sexton v Uzzy Ahmed
Event of the Year: Magnificent Seven
Robbery of the Year: Struggled for this one, so Norton v Dolan draw, should have been Dolan win
