    Default Bradley vs Berto

    What's next for Bradley?
We all know the the sweepstakes for Pacman is still on the minds of all boxers. And with Pacman fighting Mosley in the summer, it gives every fighter at least one fight if not two(in bradley's case) fights to prove that they should be teh next opponent for Pacman and get the biggest payday of their career. Berto was a talked about opponent for Pacman. A fight between these two will somewhat clear the air as to who Pacman should fight besides Martinez at 154.

    IMO, they need each other.
IMO, Berto KO Bradley in impressive fashion.

U no, at first I thought berto straight away. With Bradley tho like someone said on another thread his will to win is impressive. He isn't amazing at one thing but he seems to be very solid in all departments. I'm really a big fan of his. I pick Bradley by ud and I'm assuming it's at 147

Berto is a strong guy, I don't really like Bradley fighting anyone at 147... Unless the Khan/ Judah fight was up there.
I think Berto's strength, speed and power would just be too much for Bradley. (EDIT). I think for Bradley to beat Berto he'd have to do him at his own game but I just don't think he's physically gifted/strong enough.

If Marquez could get a fight with Bradley that would be good for both parties. HBO would love it.

This is how I feel. I think Berto will try and box him and won't deal so well with Bradley being in his face smothering him. Could be a close fight, and a great fight too.

Bradley isn't stopping him, but will work enough to win the bulk of the rounds. Bradley is the real deal, he just fought a tricky southpaw that's all. Berto is far more simple for someone like Bradley. People are looking down on Bradley as a result of this fight, but he still outworked his man. He landed the cleaner effective blows against the man that stopped Urango. People sit on Bradley, but he keeps on getting the results. He outworks Berto too. If Collazo can outwork him, Bradley can do it better.

If Bradley steps into the ring with Berto, get use to Bradley backup. He's way too small for Berto.

Two things. I'm pretty sure Berto stopped Bradley in the amateurs and I'd probably favor him now over Bradley. Although Bradley made the foray into welterweight waters with a win over Abregu, I believe staying at 140 makes more sense for now because there are enough lucrative matches there. He has Marquez at 140, which would be a good clash of styles and if he emerged victorious could lead to a Pacquiao showdown, and he has Khan at 140 in a unification match. Both are potentially bigger money fights than Berto and less risky.

Bradley has very good footwork and upperbody movement, he would cause difficulties. Plus he like to throw more than 60 punches a round. Berto hasn't even fought any credible opponents to show us where he is at in recent times. Bradley is the real deal where he is right now. Berto is is in limbo.

Berto's complacency is a little over-done. He beat Carlos Quintana not too long ago and he fought to a close match with Luis Collazo. They are both competent opponents. He needs to step it up with his next fight for sure. Bradley has beat more quality fighters than Berto, but I mean he's a smaller man. He's actually a small junior welterweight and I don't think he would have enough power to keep Berto honest especially at 147 - he barely has enough at 140. I believe Berto would be too much for him.

Berto is going to outweigh Bradley by 12 lbs come fight night, outspeed him and overpower him. If Bradley takes Berto's punch well I can see it being competitive for Bradley has a lionheart, It's a toss up IMO as if Berto can't box well himself.

    Berto UD.

Wouldn't mind seeing it though, although Bradley is only technically a light welterweight because his head is so heavy.

It would be an interesting fight, I'd take Berto. Bigger, faster stronger, though Bradley would make him fight with his pressure. I'd rather Bradley stay at 140, a fight with Khan is a must imo and there's JMM, possibly Maidana or an Alexander rematch depending on how they both come back from their losses...I'd much rather he stay put and try and dominate a deep division rather than moving up to WW.

I'd love to see Bradley drop Berto on his ass.

He hasn't foughten any credible opponents? Collazo, and Quintana are near A level talents, and both Steve Forbes and Estrada were both credible guys to fight.

Estrada was a let down of an opponent given Berto's trajectory, but I agree with you other than that.
