Default Fight changing mistakes... do you hold a grudge?

When you see a one of your favorite MMA fighters make a mistake costing him a fight, do you hold a grudge against that fighter?

If they are your favorite fighter you know what there capable of and can get over mistakes that may cause them the fight because it is not there best performance. When Dan got KO'd by Condit i knew it could have gone the other way if he had connected with his punch first and he didn't fight the way he should have. He is still my favorite MMA fighter win, lose, or draw he comes to fight thats all i want to see.

I'm still pissed at Sean Tompkins for his shitty cornering of Mark Coleman vs Randy Couture. "Keep your distance, work your jab, set up your combos, and forget that fucking double leg and ground and pound that won you three world titles and made you the undisputed best in the world on two occasions!" That was the stupidest gameplan possible for that fight! Couture's not great off his back, put him on his ass and punch his fucking face in! That cost him what was left of his career, terrible gameplan and worse cornering. Yes, I still hold a grudge with Tompkins for fucking up Coleman's career.

The Pope could have been in his corner it still wouldn't have changed the outcome.

    Hold a grudge?!...

It's always easier from the outside looking in.

Hahaha! Maybe so, but I'd've liked to see him try and take him down. Couture's problems (with a few exceptions) come from bigger, stronger grapplers. Coleman fits the bill.

Coleman fit the bill back in his pride days and early UFC but at that point in his career he wasn't even a shadow of himself. The fight was about who had aged better really and Couture wins that every time.
