Default just watching Klitschko vs Peter 2010

....and i am seeing a few things...

Bear in mind he was facing a fat Peter who was not showing a huge amount of ambition.

    1. Klitschko is deceptively fast! it's easy to forget that when i dont watch his fights regularly. Haye could be surprised the speed of those straight rights.

    2. Peter was blowing from the 2nd round and the fight turns into 'jab jab right hand grab etc.

    3. Klitschko very rarely goes forward and asserts himself, even when peter is exhausted plodding forward and throwing 'tired punches' Klitschko is still far too apprehensive.

    4. He paws away with the jab a lot and then smashes in a big right hand. very effective - against a slow plodder like Peter. If it wasn't for Peter having a good chin he would have been out of there sooner but Klitschko doesn't force the matter and is happy to win a safety first fight.

5.As klitschko is fighting he has a constant look in his eyes not sure if it's fear of getting sparked himself or it's pure concentration...maybe both?

This isn't a post to shit on Klitschko because he is definitely better than anything that Haye has been in against so far but that version of klitschko would not beat Haye.

klitschko was very dominant against Peter but there was nothing coming back at him.

i watched it too recently and the fight was over after 30 seconds

first 30 peter came out bobbing and weaving (as well as a fat man can) and throwing a few combos, after 30 seconds he was knackered

after that he just plodded forward throwing nothing that would trouble my gran

Wlad's fought damn near 60 pro fights...I'm sure everyone has seen his flaws, yet only 3 have been able to beat him and a handful have been upright at the end of the fight, and even fewer have won more than 2 rounds against him.

Are you guys just not going to give Wlad any credit until the 3rd of July when reality has set in?

It's hard to give a man too much credit when he has just been brutally KO'd

I give Klitschko plenty of credit.

He has been hugely successful he has a style that works for him

fighting against guys like Peter in that condition are not going to do much for him it's just a bit of target practise so don't expect me to praise him too much for it.

I think weighing the fight up and looking at their styles and what they both bring to the table. It is a 50/50 fight. Klitschko has been at the top for a long time. Haye is a pretty good athlete too. There has to be a turn in the tide one day.

I say it's 50/50 which it has to be, both have the ability to stop the other i just happen to think Haye will do the damage early and get the win. That's not being disrespectful to Klitschko or not giving him the credit he deserves. It is not beyond reality to see haye scoring an early stoppage.

My prediction is Haye in 4. If Klitschko comes out and does a number on Haye then congratulations to him and credit where it's due.

Hold on there, where did I say the haye has fought quality?

I appriciate your simple tactic to deflect critisism away from your guy by talking about someone else but let's stay on the facts here.

I forgot that in your world everyone who wlad has faced has been pure class and everyone every other heavyweight (other than vitali) has faced has been crap right?

Here is the fact though. Between them the klitschkos have faced one good opponant. An old, over weight, undertrained Lennox Lewis. And you know what. The Klit got beat. Stopped cuz his face looked like a kicked in cherry pie.

And if Wlad beats Haye on saturday night, he's still beat no one. Haye hasn't beat anyone good at heavyweight and only got the fight through talking, so it'll just be another bum on Wlads padded resume.

    Who gives a shit.
