There was a time when I consistently denigrated Zsolt Erdei as a guy who avoided any and all potential challenge. Then Erdei went up to cruiserweight and beat Fragomenni who is a middle of the road cruiserweight but to go up 25 pounds and beat him is somewhat respectable. Erdei continued his positive trajectory by moving to the Philadelphia area of the United States and making noise about facing the best in the world. Now he's got what he wanted and is fighting Tavoris Cloud who I believe is Erdei's toughest challenge probably ever. It's a classic boxer versus puncher match-up. I favor Cloud probably 60-40, maybe 65-35, but I wouldn't be completely surprised by an upset either because Erdei can box and he is undefeated. He's been training at a gym in Philadelphia. I've read that he's put a clinic on many of the boxers there and surprised a lot of people with his technical skills. Either way, my hats off to Erdei, he finally is facing the best in the division. Good for him.
