Im praying for my good friend Larry to pull out the victory. After speaking to him he's really confident about what he's learned over the year he's been out. I just hope he can stay relaxed on fight night and execute.

Nah it's a pick em fight imo..I know people dump on Larry but if all else fails he always has that game changing power..and I dont believe just because of the last fight that he has a bad chin.

Can anyone tell me what time he'll be on? Im in Thailand and would like to catch it. I messaged him earlier but assume all forms of communication are out as he gets focused for the job tonight.

not sure on this one it should be interesting though as whoever gets beat will really have to start all over again both boxers should really be up for it

i watched the last fight and he got hit by some big punches

I think the biggest reason he lost was that macdermott just settled straight into the fight and larry looked very edgy and nervous and left himself very open

if he has any chance id say he needs to get through the first couple without doing anything daft

having said that sam doesnt punch as hard as john i dont think and larry does have good power

i think sam's the favourite but i think a lot of people will be writing larry off which would be daft

I can't believe Sexton is odds against for the KO. He'd be an absolute cert if he'd been active. Still... he looks a different class to anything Larry has shown so far.

I don't think you need a big punch to ko Larry. He's just too stiff. Has no natural fluidity. He looked so shocked when Fat John clipped him, like he'd never been hit before.

Sexton is a good starter. Won prizefighter with ease. Has a good jab. Quick start and Larry's gone.

(fully expect Larry to win by spectacular 1st round KO or landlside PTS decision now. Fact.)

I'm a fan of the big O, so I'll be rooting for him. But Sexton really should have the boxing smarts to beat him.

If McD can knock out big Larry, then I'm sure Sexton could.

I think Sexton will win by KO tonight.

Remember guys tonight is the first fight im covering in blog (in my signature below) The williams vs Mcphilbin one.

I am going around the boxing sites etc collecting the fans scores so look out for a thread after the fight asking "how yous scored the fight" whether it went the distance of the when the fight gets stopped.
