Default Fury looks fit at the weigh in

World Boxing News: WBN Video: Tyson Fury comes in trim at weigh-in

I think Fury is expected to steam roll this guy but anything can happen with the heavyweights and Fury does sometimes like to block punches with his chin

A very very very old Evander slapped this guy silly didn't he?

Credit to Fury though he looks to be getting in some kind of shape, still don't see him getting much further though. I'm absolutely gutted he shit out of the Price fight. I reckon it would have gone 3 rounds tops! Price hits hard and Fury would have helped him by hitting himself a few times too!

I love how Channel 5 have been flanneling Vinny Maddalone as a "World Class Fighter". PLEASE. Ha.

Fury in shape is good news, but I doubt he ever gets sorted with those BAMBI LEGS that he has. All farces come to an end sooner or later, in shape at the weigh-in or not. For me, he's most definitely gonna get sparked sooner or later by someone who he's hyped to beat. Against Maddalone, I doubt it, but who knows.

If world class was a school....

I believe they were all sitting in World Class together, but guys like Vinny and Audley weren't really paying attention so their teacher busted them down to Gatekeeper class. Vinny took it quite well and made a career for himself, while Audley had to be taken to a special class for the deluded and those who were removed from world class.

Vitali and Wladimir both used to sit front and centre, and always paid attention to everything they were taught. David Haye was frequently given detention, and his report card read that he had the talent, but wasn't able to focus enough in class. Kavin Johnson had his knuckles rapped for always being tired and falling asleep in class. Tyson Fury was always too busy asking everyone 'd'ya like dawgs?', and Chris Arreola used to smuggle bags of sweets into class. Alexander Povetkin is awaiting the results of his examinations to see if he can stay in the class.

Ali got dropped and hurt a few times on the way up and then went on to have one of the best regarded chins.

You are so wrong, he is the future heavyweight champion of the world.

IMO Fury isn't going to go on to be anything special, but hell you still have to give the kid credit, he realized that coming in overweight wasn't going to cut it and he's been a lot more serious as of late, coming into fights in shape and although he probably wont go on to be great he's at least putting the work, that's more than half of the HW division can say

The thing is HE knows he's not good enough. Thats why he shite his pants when big Pricey was ready to murder him. He destroyed him in the ams and Price has improved far more than Fury since then.

He looked quite well to be fair last night but then when you think he was fighting a 38 year old guy who when he was 33 was destroyed in half that time by a 45 year old Evander Holyfield then it really isn't that impressive! I actually hope he fights Wlad next then people will shut up about him. I'd much rather see him fight Price but he clearly wants to skip that arse kicking as he knows how it ends!

I wouldn't put too much stock in their amateur fight considering Fury was an inexperienced 17/18 year old at the time and Price was 24/25 and heading to the Olympics.

I still think Price would stop him, but with both fighter's having question marks over their chin it'd be very intriguing and a lot of fun to watch.

Give Fury time and he will prove he is a better pro than Price. In fact he has fought better fighters.

Fury beat him convincingly the 2nd time and has beaten Chisora.

I wouldn't mind seeing Price v Chisora when/if Haye beats him next week. Hopefully channel 5 pick up Price's fights now Maloney has lost his Sky deal.

Really, seems sky are losing everyone or just letting them go.
