Or am I just not that adept at judging mma I thought rounds 2 4 5 were clearly edgars, 1 benson and rd 3 was close but leaned towards edgar...kinda shut it off as soon as decision was announced sort of dusgusted the way I am with boxing decisions often. I mean announcers were orgasming over a benson kick that graced / clipped edgars fuckin ear I mean what the hell

I can't say one way or the other about this card because I was unable to watch. I do know that you can watch a fight with 3, 10 or 20 other MMA fans and you will never get a unanimous vote on a close fight. Boxing is the same way and I believe it's because, the majority of us do not, or can not judge a match round by round. Most of us judge a fight as a whole.

So a close fight where a case can be made for eithe fighter but judging from polls and everything seems like majority thought edgar deserved it...I guess they figured this way the whole no immediate rematch is justified

it was an extremely boring fight. nothing happened, neither fighter was willing to try to win.

i do think edgar won the first fight tho.

I thought Edgar won...I was pretty confident he had it until the scores were announced. Sucks for Edgar since he can probably beat everyone at that weight class but wont get another title shot for a while. He may drop down and go for aldo...but I cant see that going well for him or his legs (if he thinks bendo kicks hard, aldos leg kicks are as hard but way more frequent!!! )
